When I was a little red headed girl in the 1970s, Mr. lamberth was the principal at Bonaire Elementary. My family moved to Alabama in 1977 just one county over from Oxford, and I never knew it.

Billy was one in a million! I had the wonderful experience of being friends and doing business with him over the years in Houston County. I am so glad we were able to maintain that friendship after his retirement and his move to Oxford! I deeply regret that I have just now found out about his death
until so late after it happened. He was a wonderful man that will truly be
remembered and I am so glad that I was able to call him my friend!

I had Mr. Lamberth as a principal at Miller Elem (1985-1991)...he will be missed!! I was never scared of him but I respected him and knew not to get sent to his office or be standing in the hall. He always had a smile for us and encouraged us to always do our best! My prayers go out to his family and friends!

Dear Evelyn, Felisha, Billie Anne and Larry, we are so sorry to learn of Bill's death. We have been out of town for over a week and just saw his obit in the Macon paper.
Bill was a very special person in my life and directly influenced my decision to go to work for the Houston County School System when he hired me as a substitute teacher at Miller Elementary.
It was nice to meet up with him on his occasional attendance at Auburn football games.
He was a dedicated teacher/principal and influenced many children's lives in a positive manner.
We will be praying for you during the coming days and weeks that God will bring you comfort at this time of loss.

Many prayers for Mr Lamberth and his family. He was my principal at Bonaire Elementary School for many years. He was also my substitute teacher for part of my 6th grade and taught our class every bone in the body. I was always afraid of him as a principle (like most little kids) but got to know him as a teacher and he was a kind and very smart man. We had alot of fun in his class that year and I will never forget him.

Many of the values that I have today were instilled in me by Mr. Lamberth when I attended Bonaire Elementary 1970 - 1976. These are values that I have carried with me through my life and have passed on to my child as she continues through her years in school. We can use more good educators like Mr. Lamberth in the troubling times we live in. Prayers for the family during your time of loss.

I had many principals over my 32 years of teaching, but none measured up to Mr. Lamberth. All of us knew when we came to work we best give it our "all"and we did for we respected Mr. L. so much. Let God be your Comforter as you go through this most difficult time. Remember the good times and remember what great schools he ran. There will never be another principal like him. He was one in a million.
